Tree Trimming - The Details
Danny Cameron sent this email to give all of us a clearer understanding of what the tree trimmers will do, and why they are doing it that way. The order of the buildings was chosen to provide alternate parking near each building.
This coming Monday July 25th: Continue and complete the INSIDE Common Areas , Guard House / Front Entrance. Also, remember that just as they have been doing the last few days, they will also try to trim anything that is not being hindered by vehicles around or in front of any certain building if possible and if time permits. Also remember that doesn’t mean this is your buildings trim day but that the tree trimmers are once again taking advantage of unblocked trees that they can get to and trim now to help minimize the time actually spent when that building is scheduled. The Posted Notices above ask residents to indeed move any vehicles in front of their building or that are parked near any trees in the parking lot on their scheduled trim day. Some concerned residents this last week have been moving vehicles anyway when they saw what was going on and that was appreciated, but was not required or absolutely necessary.
This coming Tuesday July 26th: Outside on NOB HILL Road. The entire tree line will be the focus of the day and of course if we were to still have remaining issues on the INSIDE common areas they would finish that up also. If things are moving faster than expected and the day’s goal has been met then they will find other trees to trim either at any selected building or even start some of the hardwood trees behind the buildings, which don’t require notice or working around any vehicles. No time will be wasted.
Wednesday July 27th: Building J, Building H and Building F. We have already explained HOW we are doing things now I want to tell you WHY we are grouping these particular buildings together. It is so residents will have someplace to easily move their cars if theirs are the ones blocking trees. Building J can move affect vehicles easily over to “I” for the day. Building H can go to G and Building F to E. The two cutting crews should be able to do all three buildings with no problem, weather permitting. But even if they fail, for whatever reason, they will continue with the posted schedule the next day and complete any miss trees after the fact. We will stay on the posted schedule!
Thursday July 28th: Building I, Building G and Building E. Once again “I” can park affected vehicles in J, Building G can slip over to H and E can use F easily. Let’s remember; we are not moving ALL the cars, just the ones by trees and in the front. Also remember not everyone who should move their car will move their cars, but WE WILL MANAGE to get it done anyway I am quite sure.
Friday July 29th: Buildings C, D and A. Yes I know buildings C and D are next door to one another but they are also the largest buildings (72 units) with the most guest spots and for the few cars that will have to be moved I estimate there will be ample space available, Trust me on this one. And of course Building A can move over to Building B.
Monday August 1st: Building B and the start of the Hardwood Trees in the Back of All Buildings. Building B can park affect vehicles in A. The cutting of the Hardwood trees behind buildings should not inconvenience anyone. The equipment will be staged at the Fire Lanes between the buildings for this operation. Also remember, like we talked about in the last email that those trees will be BLINDSIDED on the building side and THINNED as much as legally possible to take them away from the buildings and patios and allow as much sight line through them as possible but they WILL NOT BE TOPPED despite the fact that they are getting very tall now. It is not legal to TOP a tree in Broward.
Tuesday August 2nd: Behind all buildings will continue along with any touch ups and make ups that were missed during the week before.
Wednesday August 3rd: Make Up Day if Necessary
Thank you for your time and please call me or email me with any question you might have at this point, I know you have my number. See you on the property Monday.
